Formerly Known as the Stonedust-Bucket Memorial Tournament

former stonedust bucket tournament logoThe Pa Saluto Memorial Bocce Tournament is dedicated to George Joseph "Pa" Saluto, Sr. (1910-2009). Formerly the Stonedust-Bucket Memorial Bocce Tournament, this tournament has been held in Danvers, Massachusetts since 1996.

The Tournament is conducted under the rules of the International Bocce Association...up to a point. The Bocce Bosses have amended the rules to encourage a festive environment and to insure ease of play. For example, the team that brings the most tasty dish for the food table has been known to elict favorable point scores from the Bocce Boss judges.

A competitive and festive Roman attitude is important, but fun dominates the play.

This tournament officially sanctioned by the International Bocce Association & the I.B.A. Executive Board, P.O. Box 170, Utica, N.Y.
